Our Founders
Jean Lauzier
Jean is a graduate and student of Long Ridge Writer's Group, preacher's wife and
home schooling mom to three.  She writes mainly fantasy and mystery though she
likes to play in all the genres. Jean's stories have been published in numerous ezines
and most recently in an anthology.  Her nonfiction has also been published on
numerous websites and ezines.  You can read some of her articles at her website.  
Jean is also a co-founder of StoryCrafters.  When not writing she enjoys spending
time with her family.

Candela Martinez
Candela  is frequent flyer at many Mexican restaurants in her Louisiana hometown.
When not pursuing her love of the Spanish language and foods, she can be found
penning romantic scenes by candlelight. Candela is a 2005 graduate of Long Ridge
Writer’s Group, co-founder of StoryCrafters.net, and a member of Bayou Writers
Group of Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Cheryl C. Malandrinos
Cheryl is a freelancer who specializes in time management tips for writers. She currently contributes to the
monthly ezine Writer2Writer. Cheryl has also written articles on gardening, parenting, and women’s health

Sherry Heidelberger-Blackburn
Sherry has always had a love of the written word. In 1989, She received her communications degree from
Eastern Kentucky University. Sherry has worked as a 911 operator, disc jockey and spent several years at
her local newspaper writing fill stories. Sherry is a graduate and student of Long Ridge Writer's Groups and
her articles have been published in The Kentucky District News, The Pentecostal Herald and The News
Democrat. She and her husband Lee live in the beautiful rolling hills of western Kentucky, where they have
reared three children, three grandchildren, two dogs and a cat.


Sarah Smith
Sarah was born in 1985 in Little Valley, New York. She has been an avid reader and a lover of tales since
she can remember. Now, she and her husband live in the shadows of Penn State and works in the Real
Estate business to pay the bills. An alumnus of South Hills School of Business and technology, she gathers
experience and ideas for plots and especially characters from her job. Her heart, now and forever, lies with
books and stories.
